Hi! The problem statement of yours- If this is still unresolved: This basically happens when device RF algorithm forcing AP to connect far away AP, other than the one that is closer, having optimal signal strength. The one I thought of is tweaking the roaming factor, making it more aggressive. Do test this and share your feedback. Pl pardon me if this is already addressed it in a better way.

I too have DNS issues with meraki. From my testing it is related to the option "use upstream DNS", ISP DNS = pages load instantly google or any other dns = pages load instantly. Use upstream which broadcasts the gateway ip as the dns server and then sends the traffic upstreme to the ISP,s dns is where the issue lies. If you are fortunate enough to not have any configs that are sec dependent on DNS, just change the dropdown on DHCP dns settings from Upstream to anything else. you can manually enter in one or I just selected use Googles Public Problem solved. But the actual problem is not really solved, there is still an issue with Meraki, case has been escalated. Hope this helps R Dan

I'm currently facing a challenge with this. A customer needs to put Mx65 on it's network for a Demo but the MX is not connecting because there is a firewall in place that's blocking it. How can we give the MX a STATIC IP that will be allowed on the firewall???

Absolutely and enable DFS channels to see if you can use them. In the UK the transmit power of the first four (non DFS) 20MHz 5GHz channels is also pretty limited. If all your APs stay on the first four, move a couple of non neighbouring ones up to say 108 and if DFS lets them stay there you can make use of more of the spectrum.

If your looking to guarantee 10mbps on one VLAN it might be more practical to limit the rest of your vlans to 190mbps(assuming you have a dedicated 200mbps circuit), then unlimited on the VLAN your looking to guarantee BW.

I used the same SSIDs across all 4 locations...works great! Single splash page is not an issue.
