Hi, Several of our users are unable to access the internet when connecting to one of the SSIDs. I increased the DHCP scope a few weeks ago and there a plenty of leases left. I can't explain why this is happening. I'm clutching at straws at the moment - we have about 15 more people in the office than we had last week so in my mind it must be because of this. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all. I think I understand. 1. Connect AP to network port 2. Sign into the AP's local config page 3. Enter the provided public IP 4. WeWork will configure what they need to on their end i.e. firewall rules to allow AP access to Meraki cloud 5.

Hi Marc. The AP will be moving into a completely different building on a third party's network ('WeWorks'). For the APs in our offices, the public IP is automatically assigned to each AP (in my limited experience with Meraki I've never had to statically assign it).

Hi. Some of our staff are moving to a WeWork-style office and have requested to use their own AP to connect to the internet. I have a spare MR 32 that I want to assign to this new network. I have created the new network and added the AP to it, but I'm struggling to see how I can assign the public IP that we've been assigned to the access point. I think (I maybe wrong), that after the shared office company open the ports on their firewall to enable access for the AP to Meraki cloud, and I connect up and assign the internal IP to the AP then it should work as intended. How am I able to ensure that it's manageable from our dashboard. Hopefully this makes sense, if not happy to answer questions to clarify. Thanks in advance.

I think I have found the problem. I needed to increase the IP range for the Merakis on our firewall. Done that now so will see if it can detect the change.

Hi both. We have a few Meraki MR32s in place and fully operational. I connected to the MR 33 and verified that the static IP has been set, but I get the errors shown in the image. The switch port to which it's connected is configured properly (successfully connected one of our MR32s to the same port), and I have setup the same DNS server settings as our existing APs (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). I feel like I've done something really stupid but just can't see what!

Hi, I am trying to add some MR33s to our network but am having a weird issue where the AP seems to work (solid blue light and my laptop is getting signal), but when I check its status on the dashboard is 'Has never connected to the Meraki cloud'. The switch port it's connected into is configured correctly and our existing APs can connect no problem so I've no idea what is wrong. Not sure if there is something I've missed but any pointers would be great!
