Morning all,   I'm looking at a deployment of MV cameras to allow for facial recognition (internal and external cameras) and ANPR (external cameras only). Does anyone have any documentation on the 3rd party products that would be required to allow for this functionallity? Looking at MV72 and mainly MV32W for the hardware.   Many thanks ... View more

Nicolab,   Meraki now have a solution for this. You can run an MX67W that will fulfil the wireless requirement, and then use the new Meraki Gateway (link below);   https://meraki.cisco.com/products/cellular   This is located externally for best coverage, and is an ethernet connection to your WAN interface on the MX. Hi Rob,   Do you know the connector type that sits on the MX? We have a customer that is in a remote location who has requested external antenna for the LTE (VERY short run, and will be using good quality cable) but i cant get an accurate answer from Meraki as to what the connector type is to be able to source the relevant cable. ...
