Partial fix/50$ Work around : Fire TV stick installed with Bell App installed - recordings redirected to the cloud.  Makes me wonder why I still had a PVR.  Still curious as to how to get the PVR device to read the same signal, but all is working without it.  Hopefully this helps someone else with legacy systems planning MX install.  Also discovered product label during removal: PVR model: ARRIS 4K and for posterity, bypassed ISP modem/router model is: HH3K ...
