Good job swapping the cables/optics. They normally cause a lot of CRC issues, but not outages like you are seeing. As was asked is it just the port or the entire switch? If you know the times maybe run a packet capture before it goes down to see what kind of traffic is coming in. Also if it is just a single port going down try plugging into another port.  ...
