Can this be done by locking down to a specific email address instead of a whole domain? Thanks ... View more

Guest Wifi - Email Verification

At present we manually provide a PSK to Guest wifi users.  This is being shared with people that it should not be and I am going to have to change the password now.  But I know the same thing will happen. So I am wanting a way of managing who has access to Guest Wifi but making it very easy for BYOD staff and Business Guests to get access to Guest wifi. Is there a mechanism that is easy for business guests and BYOD staff that IT could add an email address that would send a "Guest" an email and automatically provide access on their device to the Guest Wifi? Or is there another process that provides easy setup access to Guests? ... View more

In the end Meraki fixed the issue, even though they insisted at the time that it was not their issue. I guess sometimes you just need to know when people are BSing you. So now we can get the app pushed out to our devices through our Meraki Systems Manager. Hopefully they fixed it for all countries requiring the Vodafone app. Thanks for your input. ... View more

Hi Ben, It is the Vodafone One Business app.  It finds it just fine for Apple IOS Meraki support came back and said that it\\the app is specific to New Zealand and despite the fact that they have an option to choose the country, they responded and said that they will not support country dependent apps. In other words Meraki MDM is incapable of doing what all other MDMs do. Go Figure! I mention this to my Meraki account manager and get no response. How NUTS is that? Anyhow...why would I choose to use a product that can't match basic functionality that other vendors provide and get no response from my account manager? If you could find the app that'd be incredible, as Meraki support can't. Thanks ... View more

Hi Is anyone else having problems finding some an Android app when in Meraki MDM? We are trying to roll out a Vodafone app across Android phones, but we cannot find it within the Meraki MDM portal. If we look on the Google Play Store site it is there, but doesn't appear when searching in Meraki MDM. Meraki is saying it will investigate., but a week or so later - nothing. This is ridiculous.  It severely restricts the functionality of MDM if we can't use it to roll out apps and makes it not worth using. Just wondering if anyone else came across this and if there was a solution. Thanks ... View more
