Dear All, We managed to find out what is the problem. We have an existing network and we would like to shut that down and migrate all end users to Meraki. If the old router still advertises the IPs (user subnets) it won’t work over the new Meraki network too at the same time. This logical caveat will cause routing problems for the Meraki network and the end users won’t get internet connection. Therefore it’s essential to power off the old devices fist and disconnect from DHL network, only after that enable the VLAN given by DHL for the Meraki network, and then migrate the end users to the Meraki. Make sure that the VLAN is not enabled and not in use for more networks at the same time. In our case the routing problem was because we didn't do the cutover properly. Dear All, I would like to turn to you for some help, we've been stuck while. We have a new Meraki router that we've installed recently, everything went well, Meraki network was created successfully without any error. There is no any further Meraki device in the network. Router model: MX67C-WW, firmware version: MX 18.211.2 The Meraki router is connected to an internet circuit. We have a SIM card inserted to the router so we have cellular service as backup. The WAN is active, the Cellular is ready. It seems everything is OK but we are not able to get any internet connection through the Meraki network, the IPs are not pingable (public DNS IPs, WAN IP, Gateway), dashboard throughput test is not working, but traceroute is working. It's blocked on Cellular too. We are not able to migrate any end users to the Meraki network, if we connect LAN users to the router they can't get internet connection. If we connect LAN user to the internet device skipping Meraki router, that works, we can get internet. We are troubleshooting with our Internet service provider checking firewall rules, firmware versions of their device, but we don't see any issues with that. We are troubleshooting with Cisco too, we've tried to change the configuration more times in more way but there is not any solution so far. Is there anybody else who faced the same problem? Does anybody have any idea why the internet is blocked? I would appreciate any help, any advice, any experience you can share. Kind regards, Anita Lovas

Dear All, Could you please help me how I can generate report from the Dashboard about Cellular signal strength and stability? I know I can have it if I go to "Security & SD-WAN”, then “Appliance status”, then on the top select “Uplink” tab and scroll down for the data. I need an extract and I am sure we can do that somehow. I would appreciate any help that is related to Cellular reports. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your feedback. We proceeded as per your advice. We asked Cisco Meraki to help, they were checking the logs from the router in real time, and they identified that the APN settings of the cellular were getting rejected. When the APN was rejected, we added back, but rejected again, and so on forever. We tried to set the APN with using a mobile, also through the Meraki Dashboard, but did not work. Finally we tried the Local Status Page of the MX as per Cisco's advice and input the APN configuration settings as described in the documentation linked here: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Tools_and_Troubleshooting/Using_the_Cisco_Meraki_Device_Local_Status_Page#MX_Series_with_Integrated_Cellular And this worked finally. The Cellular was connected and stabilized. I wanted to share my experience because maybe this will be useful for somebody else too in the future. Thanks again.

Dear All, We have a Meraki router MX67C and we have a SIM card that can connect to any network, like 5G too. We want to use this SIM as 4G backup for our network. As we know, this type of router is compatible with 4G only. 5G is not supported. When we test this SIM card with a mobile for example, we see that it can connect to 5G and 4G network too. When we insert the SIM to the router, the status is "connecting" and the service is not able to get established, the SIM details are not loading to the Meraki dashboard despite of the APN settings that our SIM provider suggests to use. We suspect that this is happening because 5G is available, and the router is trying to connect to that network but it's not possible, and it doesn't fall to 4G due to some reason. Maybe some further settings would be needed on the Meraki router to force the connection to 4G. We contacted our SIM provider we asked them to block 5G, but they rejected our request. We would appreciate if anybody can help us in this matter. Thank you in advance...
