Switching to Meraki is a non-starter due to the high and recurring costs of licenses. The fact that Cisco will kill your network if you don't pay up is beyond comprehension. I bought a set of Meraki Go equipment for my church just as things were starting to disappear, only realizing too late. I got one of the last 8 port POE switches, then couldn't get any more. This past weekend, my GX50 died. I opened a case up Monday but have yet to get any response from "tech" support. Now I am scrambling to find a GX50 to get our network fully functional again. I am also now having to start a plan to completely replace everything I bought 2 years ago. The one thing I know for certain, it won't be Cisco. This pains me being a former Cisco employee and Cisco customer since the days of the AGS, MGS, and CGS. When I worked for Cisco, our top priority was customer service. Cisco has long since lost its way.
