Below are the links I am using. I am seeing something a bit odd. MS120-48FP - MSRP = $4635, but the calculator shows total as $270015 with a qty of 1 MS210-4hFP - MSRP = $6570, calculator shows the correct total of $6940 with the license https://meraki.cisco.com/buy/cost-calculator https://meraki.cisco.com/buy/cost-calculator#switches As far as I can tell the Access switches are the ones that are messed up. Might be something for @CameronMoody to look at

Also to note it works on iOS/Chrome OS/tvOS Although independent of the other Meraki solutions it can integrate with them well.

I believe apps don't auto approve when you add them. You many need to check the approval status and approve. https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Apps_and_Software/Deploying_Store_Apps_for_iOS%2F%2FmacOS_and_Android#Approval_Status_(Android)

My bet is that is has something to do with the config on the port on the HP non-PoE switch. I would plug your laptop in there and see what IP you get and what kind of speed/auto-negotiation and network access you get,

@DexterLaBora Looks awesome! Can't wait to try it out later today. On a side note any idea if the Meraki Alexa skill will ever be migrated to Google Assistant?

This is a good place to start https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Client_VPN/Troubleshooting_Client_VPN Error 691 Possible causes and solutions: Invalid user credentials Solution: Confirm user credentials are correct. When using Meraki authentication, usernames should be in e-mail format (ex. user@example.com). When using AD or RADIUS authentication, be sure to enter the username in a format that will be recognized by the server, including the domain if needed (ex. DOMAIN\user). User not authorized Solution: If using Meraki Authentication, ensure that the user has been authorized to connect to the VPN. No certificate on AD server Solution: If using Active Directory authentication with Client VPN, make sure the AD server has a valid certificate for TLS. Incorrect DNS name resolution from the MXs upstream DNS server Solution: If the MX is configured with an ISP DNS server, change this to a Non-ISP public DNS server such as Google 8.8.8.8 Alternatively, this message can be caused when a mismatch of pre-shared secrets between a RADIUS server and MX results in bad encryption of the password. Test this by changing the pre-shared secret in Dashboard and for the RADIUS client on the server to something simple, such as "Meraki". If the error disappears, verify the secret used is correct on both devices, and simplify the password if needed.

@AjitKumar That video link can't be published or accessed without dashboard access. Short answer is as of now there is no way to publish the video feed from MV devices unless authenticated with dashboard credentials. You could export video to a file and continually upload those to a site, but there would be delay in the stream.

Setup a DMZ for this device, cell traffic doesn't need to be traversing through your network, it needs direct internet access. Ideally if your ISP supports it have the device connected to their equipment with its own public IP, that way it never has to touch your equipment.

2 places I believe to check and add themselves back. 1) Default network wide alerts https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Configuring_Network_Alerts_in_Dashboard 2)Full Org Admin I believe anybody listed a full org admin will get emails. Might need an add/remove to clear any previous behavior

@MeredithW Thanks for the post. I will have to think about a nomination. As always thanks for all your help in giving us this commmunity. @jdsilva Thanks! I looking forward to contributing and learning more here in the community. @Nash Yes Meraki is great. We are working on putting together a full managed Meraki offering. I would say the ECMS1 training isn't too salesy. Nice thing is that there was a couple hours of full lab play time, which is nice for help desk people to get in and break stuff and work through issues. Also the sessions don't take very long and at the end of each session you may end up with 20-40 mins of free time to explore the lab. Your other option is get some NFR gear and make your own lab. Use an API (pretty sure you got that covered) to setup and then break the lab. Then let help desk troubleshoot. I would say Meraki 360 is more technical and you get a free AP, so you might try that.

If you are talking AP light then yes. If you are talking ethernet port lights, then maybe. The below doc hasn't been updated with new Wifi 6 APs @CameronMoody https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Other_Topics/Run_Dark_Mode

The data shows that you are getting to OpenDNS regardless of if you use it or not. Checking the DNS settings on the MX, MS, and AP are the first place to start.

Cisco technically owns OpenDNS now and is pulling it under the Umbrella name. Not sure if there is some overlap in the changes. I would check all DNS settings on the MX, MS, and AP, then if nothing is found to point to an OpenDNS server then dive down to the client level. If you can source the IP that OpenDNS is using then run a packet capture to find which clients are making calls there.

Is this more for just good measure to reboot APs weekly or do you manually change names on the problem APs that you want to get the weekly scheduled reboot?

In my experience whitelisting these ID events doesn't work very well or quickly. Your best bet is start by changing the ruleset to balanced instead of security. The next option is change the mode to detection. Then it pinpoints which part of ID is detecting/causing it. The other thing you might check is AMP settings. Also if you can provide the SNORT link to the vulnerability it is detecting

Doc showing Remote Assistance uses port 3389 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-xp/bb456978(v=technet.10) Assuming this is correct, even with all the correct setup to allow 3389 and or forward ports, you may still run into issues with Intrustion Prevention. Check the security event log https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Security_Center If you see Microsoft Windows Terminal server RDP over non-standard port attempt then Intrustion Prevention is causing the issue and you will need to adjust . I believe balanced ruleset is the option, but you may have to move mode to detection also. YMMV These options may come with security risks and in that case the recommended action is to be connected to a VPN (Client or Site-to-Site) to use 3389 or use a different solution as 3389(RDP) is pretty vulnerable.

Kind of interested why you want the public IP of a mobile device, assuming alot of them will be carrier Public IPs. This link below shows the additional field included public IP. https://dashboard.meraki.com/api_docs#list-the-devices-enrolled-in-an-sm-network-with-various-specified-fields-and-filters

I didn't think Umbrella supported Android devices with a client. I believe you could point the DNS to umbrellas servers with a policy. Also no mention here. https://docs.umbrella.com/deployment-umbrella/docs/2-prerequisites-update Windows and Mac devices you should be able to download the installers and follow below for help pushing. https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Apps_and_Software/Installing_Custom_Apps_on_Windows_and_Mac_Devices
