I am using small switches (NOT MERAKI) to increase the distance for my cabling.

Do you know how I can tag them so that they appear in the dashboard topology?

I don’t think you can, but your best chance is to make sure they have CDP and LLDP enabled and allowed.

I have seen some images with topologies that if they mark it, I do not know if it is due to the brand or the type of the switch.

Yep, I see the diamonds/square icon on some of my topologies that have devices with CDP/LLDP announcing what they are.

What is the make/model/firmware of the non-Meraki gear?
