Outdoor Antenna on Indoor AP

I need to install some external antennas in a walk-in freezer.  Has anyone used outdoor antennas like the ma-ant-25 on an MR53E?  I have found documentation that says the ma-ant-25 is compatible with the MR74 and MR84 but I am thinking an N-type connector is an N-type connector, right?

Indoor "E" APs have RP-TNC connectors. The outdoor APs and antennas are N-type.
