Mesh to Mesh
Hi,
Is it possible to join an AP to a Mesh connected AP for its uplink.
For example -
We have an AP on a shed which is joined to a mesh parent. We want to get wifi into the shed and are wondering if we can use the mesh connected AP ethernet port to connect the internal AP.
Main AP outside providing connection to AP1 Outside which connects to AP2 Inside. All three will server wireless clients like laptops.

I assume this is all with Meraki gear? If so the remote side switch needs to be layer 3 so the AP can be in a unique broadcast domain as should here https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Wi-Fi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Extending_the_LAN_with_a_Wireles...
If you do this with L2 Meraki switches when you attempt to bring the "AP2" up it won't work.

You can also "cut" this wire. Then it will be a pure mesh repeater. Performance won't be great, but it will extend coverage.

I think for this requirement you can use the MR36H Model very good.
It comes with a second LAN port which you can connect to your switch and the MR36H joins the WiFi like a client. You can also bridge diffrent VLANs.
