We are planning to deploy a Meraki Mesh in one of our locations. The property has 10 units and Fiber Internet is coming in to UNIT 10. There is no Cat6 cabling going to any other units. Each unit is a small 2 bedroom unit. We have bought 4 x MR70 APs. The plan is to have one outside Unit 10 plugged in to the network. The other 3 APs will be mounted outside the units and will be meshing with these. Our concern is,
1. will 4x MR70s be enough to provide coverage to all units?
2. How well the wifi reception will be inside the units?
This is the first time we are doing this type of Mesh deployment. It is a remote location which makes it harder to test before deploying so wanted to make sure we have enough to send people out to do installations.
Any help would be appreciated.
