Meraki MR76 antenna upgrade?

Can I upgrade the antennas that came with my Meraki MR 76?
If so, where can I buy them on the Internet?

Going sideways, what is the problem that you are experiencing that you are trying to solve?

Bridge link?  General coverage?  Trying to fill in a coverage hole?

Here to help

Yes — you can change/upgrade the antennas on the Meraki MR76.

The Cisco Meraki MR76 is designed for external antennas and supports 4 × N-type antenna connectors. Antennas are not included by default, and you must connect all four ports to maintain proper MIMO operation.
Key points

• You can use Cisco Meraki–approved antennas or third-party antennas that match the required specifications

• Supported antenna types include omnidirectional, sector, and patch antennas

• Antennas must be dual-band (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) and use N-type connectors

• Antenna choice impacts coverage pattern, gain, and regulatory compliance
Recommended (official) Meraki antennas

Common compatible models include:

• MA-ANT-20 – Dual-band omni antennas

• MA-ANT-21 / MA-ANT-23 – Sector antennas

• MA-ANT-25 / MA-ANT-27 – Higher-gain directional options

(Refer to the MR76 datasheet for the full supported list.)
Where to buy

• Cisco partners / resellers

• Online retailers such as Amazon, NetworkTigers, CDW, Comms-Express, etc.
As long as the antenna meets the MR76 specifications (N-type, dual-band, correct impedance and gain), it can be used. However, Meraki recommends using their approved antennas for guaranteed performance and compliance.

Comes here often

No. The MerakiMR76 uses fixed, built-in antennas that cannot be replaced or upgraded. Therefore, you will not find third-party antennas to install.
