MS Teams Calls Log for e911 showing a different BSSID than actual Meraki MR56 BSSID

Hello,

We are testing e911 location functionality through MS Teams and MS Teams call log show a different BSSID than the one advertised by the actual MR 56 WAP.

Actual WAP MAC (BSSID): a8:46:9d:1b:40:a7

Reported by MS Teams Call Logs: bssid": "aa-46-8d-1b-40-a7"

Any idea why there is difference in third octet from actual 9d to 8d?

Thanks.

Muhammad

Kind of a big deal

I think it indicates the SSID and radio. See here and you should also be able to see these in your dashboard: https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/WiFi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Calculating_Cisco_Meraki_BSSID_MA...
