MR76 - Cover for unused antenna port

Hey all,

I'm planning to install a MR76 outside. I have a pair of MA-ANT-20 for the 5 GHz radio but plan to leave 2.4 GHz unused. The question is how to cover the ports.

Meraki recommends n type dust caps and I've found this older thread (https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless-LAN/MR74-with-a-single-antenna/td-p/48792) were someone recommended 50 Ohm terminations.

Can anyone say which of these would be appropriate? Would this work: http://www.bkl-electronic.de/en/product/0404053

And are these weatherproof?

I'm not 100% sure about that because it is an actual connector where the male actually makes contact with the female outlet of the AP.

Usually when you remove weatherproof dust caps from Cisco aironet AP's they don't contain the inner connector only a n-type screw on top with a rubber o-ring.

I found one here that would most closely fit it:

Hey, thanks.

I think the connection is the point since it's a termination? However I've only listed that since someone suggested it in the other thread. If a dust cap is fine I'll just go with that.

That was my own uncertainty but since I have seen Cisco 1562 AP's coming with metal caps that do not terminate but just screw on I believe a true termination of the signal is not needed.  Which would make sense since you can shutdown the radio on that antenna.
