MR74 Replacement with MR76

I'm looking to replace two MR74 outdoor wireless access points with MR76's. I believe I need four MA-ANT-20 Meraki Dual-Band Omni Antennas (2 pack). Does anyone know if the power cable for the MR74's are compatible with the MR76's?

According to the data sheet, the mounting bracket should come with it.

Am I missing anything else that I would need?

Hi,

The MR76 uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) and is compatible with 802.3af power injectors. If your MR74s were using PoE, the same power setup should work for the MR76s.

You are correct that you need four MA-ANT-20 Meraki Dual-Band Omni Antennas (2 pack) for the MR76s.

The MR76 package includes the mounting bracket, wall screws, wall screw anchors, grounding screws, and mounting straps. So, you should be all set in terms of mounting hardware.

You should perhaps considering going to a CW9163E to increase your lifespan. There is a price difference but you will add 6Ghz capabilities for a more future proof installation. Also the MR76 and 74 use the same MA-ANT-20 antennas so you may not need new ones.
