MR44 with 1Gb access switch

Hi,

Will the MR44 aps work with 1Gb ports at the access layer ? I know the interfaces are 2.5Gb but we don't want to upgrade the access layer straight away. I am not sure if the switches can negotiate 1Gb speeds with the aps ?

Yep they work fine at 1Gb.  Just plug in, we have ports set to auto/auto, our MR44's sync up at 1Gb/s full duplex

MultiGig is always backward compatible to 1Gig (or at least I have not seen a vendor having it not compatible)
