MR - POC

Hi ,

we have planned to give meraki wireless PoC to our client. Their existing network is on VLAN 1, so asked our team configure the static IP address in VLAN1. However, device didn't take the static IP.

Can we configure the static IP on VLAN1 ?

Yes you can.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Are you talking about giving the AP a static ip?

When you connect the AP to a switchport on vlan1, then when configuring the static management ip of the AP , leave the vlan field empty
