MR On Premise

Hello,

I actually have a question about the Meraki MR, is it possible to register the MR on premise, on the controler besides of the cloud ?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

SAFAA

You can see what's happening if there's no cloud connectivity for Meraki devices here: https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Behavior_during_Conn...

Chances are (if you don't use NAT mode on your SSID) that the AP will keep operating just fine.

There's no way to operate a Meraki AP from the Cisco WLC.

That's quite simple: there is no other "controller" besides the Cloud. 🙂

Thank you for your replay.

But what if the connection o my MR to the cloud is down ?

Thant's why I have thought that maybe we can have a back up with the Cisco controler that I have on premises.
