IPSK without RADIUS - 50 passphrases limitation via API?

The official Meraki documentation for IPSK without RADIUS mentions:

"There is a limit of configuring up to 50 PSKs per SSID in Dashboard"

Does the same limit applies also when generating IPSK passphrases via APIs?
