How do I bulk edit AP names

How can I bulk edit AP names either when I order new AP's or if I want to bulk edit existing AP names?

I have been trying to figure out the API commands and the best I can come up with is to change the name of a single AP.  How can I use the API to change the name of 50 AP's at one time?
