Hard Limit on client data usage
Hi, I want to put a hard data limit on the data usage on a real time basis to the clients connected to my Meraki access point. I know that meraki doesn't provide any such feature, but is there any another way of doing that? or some way to live track data usage of each client ?

To clarify you want to be able to control bandwidth? Or do you mean you want to be able to see data usage?

Hi,
we are looking to see data usage per user in a real time basis. if it reaches a certain threshold, we will squeeze their bandwidth with a separate group policy.

Not too sure about live but what I do is when I want to see who uses a lot of bandwidth I filter the "usage" section and if I want to get granular I go by SSID or even policy. I then can check if a client's usage for the last 2 hours and catch where they go and how long they've been connected/using data.

If you need it live you would need to use a third party netflow monitor:
https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Monitoring_and_Reporting/NetFlow_Overview
Or perhaps something that transparently captures and anaylses the packets.
I sometimes use a packet capture and wireshark if I want to know "right now".
