Guest SSID Sponsor Control

Hi,

I have a quick question, regarding to Guest SSID, currently the approval for guest's request it will be send to any sponsor inside domain level, but this it is difficult as anyone from staff can approve himself, is there any way or new feature from Meraki to add some control in sponsor approval?

the idea I want to control that not any one inside the domain can approve.

for your information creating a child domain is not applicable in my company.

The documentation explicitly states that it's only possible to specify sponsors on a per domain basis. You could buy another domain and create email alias on that domain for only your sponsors, but beyond that you'd need to use a different solution like Cisco ISE.

Exactly as @Mloraditch said, you can't specify explicit sponsors per domain.

As has been mentioned, 3rd party integrations can be used to manage this.

I believe others have used subdomains with perhaps varying success.

We have a workaround: Block sponsor approval emails for the rest of the Org; any only allow a group/ou to receive them
