Cloud Auth Credentials Not Working After Few Days (Apple Devices)

In Meraki Cloud Authentication, the username and password are set to “Never Expire.”

However, after a few days, the same password stops working on Apple devices, and we are forced to reset the password.

I advised the users to disable Private MAC Address to resolve the issue.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

What type of authentication is used?

But this is a common occurrence when the private MAC is enabled, and it's not exclusive to Meraki. So, the recommendation is to leave it disabled.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

What kind of authentication are you using?  WPA2-Enterprise mode?
