Bridge Mode Basics.

Just looking into setting up a Bridged mode SSID for the smart devices which need to communicate directly.

Is a basic setup as below?

Create an SSID in bridged mode with WPA2 etc with new VLAN 10.

Create new VLAN 10 on MX appliance with associated IP range

Ensure VLAN10 is running a DHCP server

L3 outbound firewall rules are any/any.

That should be absolutely fine with the setup you mentioned initially.

That is indeed a basic setup and works.

When you say the devices need to communicate directly, what do you mean exactly, with one another?

Yep, i.e. smartphone to smart t.v etc to stream content etc.
