Behavior of MR device when syslog server become unreachable
Hi, we're in process to setup syslog server to received logs from our MR devices. We would preferably would have a centralized syslog, however because we have MR device at different locations, one point that was raise, is how would MR device handle a situation that syslog server become unreachable?
Would logs store locally on the device and then forwarded to the syslog server ?
Would latency beetween MR and syslog server cause issues?
Can there be an impact to end user's experiencing on wireless?
Thanx!

Syslog is by default "fire and forget". There is no impact if the server is not available, and I didn't see any impact at all.

Adding to what @KarstenI said, if the syslog server is offline then the message will most likely be lost.

The AP is not aware of the syslog server and it's reachability.
