A RADIUS message with the Code field set to 12, which is not valid, was received on port 1812 from

since 02/april/2024 we have this message

A RADIUS message with the Code field set to 12, which is not valid, was received on port 1812 from RADIUS client GEN-AP-mgt. Valid values of the RADIUS Code field are documented in RFC 2865.

we have touch radius settings since installation.

Why we get this warning on the windows servers (NPS) eventlog.

Thanks.

Code 12 is a RADIUS extension for clients to query the "liveliness" of a server. NPS hasn't received any development for ages, and that is likely the reason it doesn't understand this message.

Use the Change Log in the the Meraki Dashboard, to see if there was a chance in network settings around April 2nd.

A google search implies that it is something with "status-server" in the RADIUS spec, which might not be supported on MS.
