802.11ac wave 1 APs being advised to be upgraded to 27.x

Meraki have flagged that one of our networks that contains one MR32 should be upgraded to 27.5.1, see the below, I'd have thought this will achieve nothing as aren't the wave 1 APs limited to 26.x and it is already on 26.8.1...

IIRC the older AP's themselves should remain at their maximum supported firmware even if the network goes beyond it.

The new MR performance information tabs will not receive any information from the MR32 AP.

Thanks @GIdenJoe , just not sure why a network with only a single wave1 AP would be upgraded.  Perhaps to syncronise with the dashboard not offering a 26.x release anymore?

Maintaining fewer major releases is easier I guess 😉
