Beta MR Firmware 26.6 VoIP RTP question - what constitutes VoIP RTP?

Hello! In the notes fro 26.6 it says under known issues:

  • Downstream VOIP RTP Packet Loss (MR42/MR42E/MR52/MR53/MR53E/MR84)

Does Wifi calling get included in that category? What about FaceTime audio? Signal audio?

Or would it just be referring to a plain jane VoIP phone? Somebody set me straight. What will be affected here?

Well, I think it explains it.  Only the protocol RTP will be affected.

FaceTime does not use RTP.  Never used signal and know nothing about it.  A VoIP is likely to use RTP.

Basically Google your product and find out if it uses RTP.

Got it 3GPP to the rescue.
