Starlink handoff to MS

Has anyone had instability issues (packet loss, auto-negotiation) with Starlink  ethernet handoffs? I ran a packet capture and I can see a lot of TCP  retrans. When I plug the Starlink handoff to a Catalyst IOS or laptop it works fine.

Is Energy Efficient Ethernet enabled?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Starlink has historically always had a small amount of packet loss.

Here are two snapshots from an MX68 connected via gigabit ethernet to a Starlink High Performance Dish running in passthrough mode over one month. The first picture shows the latency and loss and the second one is the Meraki Insight report for the Starlink connection. This is all completely normal. TCP may have to do a few re-transmits, but that is completely acceptable for all but the most time sensitive of applications. I have customers routinely conducting video conferencing and phone calls over these links with no issues.  The only downside to Starlink is that it can be impacted by very heavy rainfall or snowfall for a short period of time. Otherwise, it just works, just like Meraki 😉
