Meraki Switch Utilization Monitoring

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to check the Meraki Switch utilization?

Meraki doesn't publish device utilization information for switches. There is some limited information that support can pull from the backend

What specifically are you looking for?

PRTG has a free license for up to 100 sensors.

It has sensors for device health (CPU, memory, etc) and also supports SNMP sensors for port-level utilization, errors, etc.

NetFlow is also supported.

Their paid offering  is worth it as well.

I'd look into SNMP polling and Netflow.

Is there a specific design goal or business use case that you're aiming to achieve? I expect that most Meraki networks would experience mostly north-south traffic so MX monitoring might address some of the utilization monitoring needs.
