MS225-48

Hello~

How can I check the log record of the ARP packet drop in the GUI of MS225?

If cannot, any other way?

Thank you very much.

Are you talking about DAI?

Or just any dropped (arp) packet , then no

DAI Blocked Events

If a client device is attempting to spoof an IP address, and traffic on a switchport fails validation, then DAI will take action.  Events where DAI has found potentially malicious client traffic can be found both in the Network-wide > Event log, or on the switch related page under Switch > DHCP servers and ARP.  The events will list the source MAC address, the VLAN this traffic was identified on, the likely IP address, timestamps of the events, and the total count of the events.

Perhaps check "Network Wide/Events".

Thank you very much for your reply.

Maybe it is no related to DAI.

We connect the LAN ports of our routers to the port 41 and port 47 of our switch MS255.

I would like to check the status about ARP packets loss.

In Network-Wide, I can capture the records for the specific ports by "Packet capture".

May I have your advise how to check the ARP data packet loss from the output file?

Best regards,
