MS125-48FP fan noise
Hey Team,
We have a large project where we are replacing access switches at one of our sites and looking to use the MS125-48FP.
Some of these switch locations are in common areas (in racks). Just wondering if anyone has any experience on how much noise these switches make.
These will be replacing HP procurves that our users commonly complain about the noise. We can't move the racks or change them out as it's a short-term setup before moving into a new building (Another 12 months away)
Any feedback would be appreciated.
thanks

I don't think MS125-48FP or Procurves are noisy ...

These older procurves are screamers.

I was deploying an MS125-48FP in a childcare center office space (12RU wall mounted rack).
I ended up having to remove it due to being slightly too deep but I found:
On power up it takes off like a jet engine but calms down after 5 or so mins.
It definitely had a noticeable background hum but nothing too loud during standard operation.
I imagine it gets louder the more PoE you're pushing out of it.
