MS120-24 static error

When setting it up for the first time, if I try to set it to STATIC after receiving it through DHCP, it is set to the previously set DCHP address and does not change. What should I do?

It's possible that either it's taking a while to update in the dashboard, or the static configuration you're setting is causing it to lose connectivity to the dashboard and so it is failing back to the DHCP address.

I waited long enough to change the STACTIC settings in DHCP and looked at the dashboard. After turning off the DHCP function in the firewall settings, I looked at the switch and the IP set to DHCP was retrieved.
