MS 425 DHCP Default gateway

Hello,

I have different L3 intefaces configured on MS425, i want MS425 to run as the DHCP server. The Interface IP configured isn't the default gateway for the specified subnets, how do i specify the DHCP server to include the external default gateway IP in the lease information?

You can’t!

Are you able to move the dhcp scopes over to the switches that are the dfg?

Never tried it but have you tried adding a custom option of 003 (default gateway)?

Believe my colleague got this working on a Meraki stack where we needed such a setup

@DarrenOC is correct, custom option 3 is your friend.  It works perfectly for us.  In fact I thought @DarrenOC had set it up...🤣

@cmr , you’re right! I remember David asking the same question in fact!
