GLC-BX-D= and GLC-BX-U= on MS1210

Hi

Will the following SFP modules work with MS210?

If you use the matrix tool these modueles are not listed. They are listed under 9300. There is no C9300-M category in this tool.

Nor are they listed under MS210 and C9300-M datasheets on the Meraki.com website.

I imagine that they should work even if not listed anywhere.

It was in enquiry I made to our AM at Meraki London who then forwarded it to an engineer internally.

I had a customer with several networking closets but only 3 pairs of fiber to each while having cascaded fiber links.  So I had to look for a solution to get all access switches directly connected to distribution and still having a spare pair here and there.  So I had to change the solution to C9300L stacks and some C9200CX compact switches that are in Meraki monitoring mode to get this to work.

BiDi transceivers are not supported on Meraki devices, though they may work...

Meraki Engineer says on the native MS switches (MS1x, MS2x, MS3x, MS4x they would not work.

On all Catalyst switches (c9300-m, MS390) they should work just fine.

OK thanks. It means you got this from Meraki engineer directly?

@Ulfen I think the pertinent word is 'should'.
