EXTEND VLAN on Legacy Switch

HI Guys,

Just want to confirm if creating an SVI to an extended legacy switch [3850] would cause VLAN conflict with a Meraki VLAN. Say, I create VLAN 50 on Meraki MX then I connect a 3850 with SVI 50?

Thanks

I would just have to ask why?

Just as long as the SVI L3 interface IPs aren’t the same then you shouldn’t have an issue.

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

That is fine.  It will be VLAN50 on both devices, carrying the same layer 2 traffic.
