Disabling STP

Hi,

I have a situation where several locations have pair of MXs and provider's 1 link to L2 cloud connected via the core switch access ports in VLAN X.

In such scenario, instead of a local switch, switch from a remote location taked root role because L2 cloud propagates BPDUs.

L3 is terminated locally on every location/MX.

Would you consider disabling STP in such case on access ports in VLAN X?

Regarding the switches, wouldn't it be easier to change the priority of the core switch?

Every location has core switch which serves as a transit for MXs to get to L2 cloud.

I want for every location to have root switch locally.

I don't see how can I achieve this with priority since L2 cloud propagates BPDUs.

Can you provide a simplest topology, just to try better understanding your scenario?

I don't think that disabling STP is a good option for now.
