Disable DTP / Unknow protoclols

Hello Community Meraki.
I want a consulting.
While in observation one interface in Catalyst to MR56 ,I realized that it has "unknown protocols". I clear the counters. I thought it might be DTP, but i verify te interface and are "no switchport nonegotiate".

I clear counters, the "hellow" mesage it recived at 30 seconds, i think that MR55 send DTP.

Do you know something similar?

Thanks for the support.

To disable DTP you can run this command on the switch port:  switchport nonegotiate

Solved: switchport no negoiate command - Cisco Community

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Thanks for the clarification.

I already applied the command but I still receive unknow protocols 😕

Try doing a packet capture and see what shows up.

Good idea, I'll try it.
thank you
