Detecting intrusive attempts on Switch Ports

Hello,

Any advise on how to detect intrusive  MS switch port connections?  Is there a way to generate advisories when someone connects a non-authorised device on a switch port?

Thanks you.

Kind of a big deal

You can enable features like 802.1X Authentication, MAC Address Throttling, and Port Security, and enable alerts.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

As @alemabrahao says, you really need to deploy 802.1x to get this kind of functionality.
