DIfferent VLAN config options in C9300 than MS425

I've inherited a Meraki network and I'm replacing a MS425 stack with a C9300 stack. I've got the C9300s updated to the latest Meraki Firmware but when I go to set up the vlans under layer 3 switching on the 9300s there is an option for the default gateway that isnt in the MS425 config. Can anyoneMeraki Switching VLANs.jpeg tell me where I find the default gateways on the MS425 to configure on the C9300?

I think this is what you are looking for.

Switching > Configure > Routing & DHCP

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

I am not 100% sure but it looks like you might be setting up your 1st interface which needs to know the "next hop (default route)"....just a guess on my part.

You can reference this example in the Hybrid Campus LAN Design Guide (CVD) if interested.  I've seen no other documentation that show the screen you have shared above.

Yes @RWelch is right, the default gateway field will show up on the first L3 interface for a switch. The existing gateway will be listed as the default route assigned to the existing switch

If that is the case @Colin-D9 you can look at the default route (next hop) on the MS425 and make it the same.

For the management configuration of a Meraki switch - the default gateway should always point to the upstream device and never the switch itself.
