Configuring Role on cisco 1300 ports

  As part of AAA authentication how /where should we configure a role sothat  authenticated user will be assigned with specific role.

I believe you are talking about TACACS authentication, which does not apply to the Meraki dashboard.

Correct me if I am wrong. In any case, here is a guide on how to configure authentication via CLI.

Can you please tell me how do we configure the role with Meraki MS250 switch ?

Role for what function exactly? 802.1x authentication on ports? What Radius server do you have? Cisco ISE, Freeradius, Mricosoft NPS?
