Cisco IP phones 7940 and 7960 models not Powering on Meraki switch MS355-48X

Hello Team,

 

any one who has faced the below issue.

  1. IP phones currently  (Cisco 7940 and 7960) cannot receive POE if connected to the meraki devices MS355-48X
  2. Only two models 7970 and 7911 are able to receive power 

 

The 7940 and 7960 IP phones can power when connected to Catalyst PoE switch.

Cisco 7940 and 7960 phones don't support the PoE standard. They use a Cisco proprietary inline power technology will only work that way with Cisco Catalyst switches.
