Can you use different stack cable lengths in a ring topology with MS150-48FP-4X's?

Looking to get 5-6 MS150-48FP-4X and stack them in a ring topology between two racks, 3 in one rack and 3 in the other rack. I figured the switches in the left rack would be 1, 2, 3 from top to bottom, the switches in the right rack would be 6, 5, 4 from top to bottom. I could use 1m cable for switches in the same rack but may need longer for switch 1 to 6 and 3 to 4.

Would different length stacking cables work in this topology with these switches?

Yes, they work without any problem.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

A typical deployment I perform involves using the shortest stack cable between the middle switches, and then a much longer stack cable to connect the bottom switch to the top switch.

This is definately ok.

Yes. Typically, stacking cables of different lengths will work as long as each cable meets the maximum supported distance of the switch.
Typically, Cisco MS150 stacking is flexible as far as cable lengths are concerned. Therefore, using shorter cables within a rack and longer cables between racks is acceptable.
