Can you use different stack cable lengths in a ring topology with MS150-48FP-4X's?

Looking to get 5-6 MS150-48FP-4X and stack them in a ring topology between two racks, 3 in one rack and 3 in the other rack. I figured the switches in the left rack would be 1, 2, 3 from top to bottom, the switches in the right rack would be 6, 5, 4 from top to bottom. I could use 1m cable for switches in the same rack but may need longer for switch 1 to 6 and 3 to 4.

Would different length stacking cables work in this topology with these switches?

Yes, they work without any problem.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

A typical deployment I perform involves using the shortest stack cable between the middle switches, and then a much longer stack cable to connect the bottom switch to the top switch.

This is definately ok.
