Hi all,
I am currently planning a deployment for a customer working with mentally handicapped people.
He said that they have some rooms which need to be video monitored.
I did not find any information if the Meraki cameras are impact resistant/rugged or something like that.
(The customer told me that some of the patients get aggresive and may try to hit the cameras with different things)
I hope you can help me out.
Thanks in advance!
The MV72's (outdoor ones) have an IK rating of 10K+.

IK10 copes with a 20 joule impact (5kg mass dropped 400mm). If somebody is agitated, 20 joules is easily achieved. Probably better to have stronger protection. Have a look at what they use in similar facilities. Keeping cameras out of reach is a good start.
I would reach out to Meraki on this - I have seen videos of people attacking the MV's with bats and other things. Not being able to damage them - I think IK10 is the hardest rating available
