New Features: Access Logs and External Stream Sharing

Hey all! It's your friendly MV team again, with two new feature announcements. First, we're released video access logs to help you keep track of who is accessing what video, and when. Second, we've added external stream sharing, making it easy to share video with users outside of your Meraki organization via an email link.

Video access logs will provide an audit of user activity, including viewing video, exporting video, screenshots, and snapshots via API. The log includes information on the user, the camera, the time the activity took place, the IP geolocation and address, as well as the start and end times (for things like snapshots and video exports.) More information can be found in documentation here

External stream sharing is designed to quickly allow video access to non-dashboard users for specific circumstances or events. The access is temporary - each stream defaults to a 24 hour expiration, and can be revoked at any time. The recipient will receive an email with a link for browser-based video access. More information can be found here on our documentation site.
