NEED: beta tester for LPR

We are working to integrate our LPR software via the Meraki camera.  The integration would be done via MV Sense and webhooks straight to our LPR APIs in the Cloud or SDK.

We would like to see if you can give us remote access to one of your Meraki cameras for us to do the testing.  Remote access would only be needed for a few days during the QA time.

In return, we can include you in our blog when we launch the integration with Meraki.

Please let me know!

Hi, what are your requeriments? what do you need to see on the image of the camera?

Basically, the steps/requirements are straight-forward.

1) You set up motion detection in your camera via SnapShot API.  Motion detection would be to identify a large object (that is, a vehicle).  If you have the Meraki MV72 and MV72X, then you can set up vehicle detection.

2) When motion/vehicle is detected, we will provide you with a piece of JSON API code to send the image to our LPR Engine in the Cloud.

3) I will then confirm that the image got sent to our LPR Engine... and will share the results back with you.

If you want to see the results under your own account dashboard, you can sign up (for free!) at https://platerecognizer.com and then you can just change the API Token with your account.

Please let me know if you are able to help! Thank you.

Hi, the problem is because the covid we don't have movement of cars on our cameras, we have some with movement but I'dont know if the cars are too far from the camera for your tests, that examples are from mv72 cameras, we have mv71,mv72,mv22,mv12w,mv12n,

Thanks for sharing the images!

The vehicles are indeed a bit far.  Possible to zoom into say the entrance/exit area?

Hi, I'm trying to do some tests, I configured the webhooks url and shared secret, test with the button "send test webhook" and fails and I cannot see any image in the dashboard

I configured with the url without the region parameter, the link ALPR API Documentation returns a 404 error

the link for tips is not working too..

I'm trying to do the test with my actual cameras but doesn't has the best angle to get the plates, in the next order to meraki I'm going to order one to put in the correct place to do best tests

Hi Julian, thanks for the reply.  This is what happens when we get too excited to create a How To page too quickly!

We have made the link corrections on the page.  Will do 20 pushups as punishment.

1) The "send test webhooks" is a known issue.  We identified this and also posted the issue to the Meraki team.

2) API Documentation goes to docs.platerecognizer.com

3) The Tips for Camera Setup goes to https://platerecognizer.com/blog/camera-setup/

Look forward to seeing the new Meraki camera in action!  Let us know how we can help you further.
