Alert and Retention Time with Meraki Camera

Hi All,

Can a Meraki Camera support these features:

  • Receive an alert email/Mobile phone once a motion is detected at specific time (i.e., after midnight).
  •  Set a custom retention time (i.e., for 150 days).

Can a customer configure the camera with a public domain email?

I appreciate your help!

Receive an alert email/Mobile phone once a motion is detected at specific time (i.e., after midnight).

Yes using motion alerts with schedules.

Set a custom retention time (i.e., for 150 days).

You can set up to 90 days, note depending on the MV capacity, quality & resolution configured, as well as other settings the actual amount of footage that can be retained with vary.

Have you checked the documentation?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
